Sunday Snapshots (of Elly in her Sandbox)

It was the first warm day. Spring hadn’t even officially started.

Yet, Elly didn’t let that stop her.

She’s been begging to play in her sandbox, but I have been telling her that it was too cold.

I think she was half surprised and half thrilled when I answered the same question she has been asking for the past month with a Yes.

Oh, the joy of sand.

Pool Weather

Today was in the 80’s, so I decided it was time to bring out the pool.

I helped Elly into her new birthday suit that she received as an Easter present.

I blew up the pool.

Elly did the rest. She filled up the pool with water.

She climbed in as soon as there was an inch of water in the pool.

She played with her pool toys.

Even our neighbor stopped by to see Elly in her pool.

The water was a bit cold, but that didn’t faze Elly. Eventually, she asked to get out, but I think it was more hunger than cold.

I anticipate us getting a lot of use out of this little pool this summer.

Beautiful Noro Featured in the 4th Hexagon

The beautiful Noro matched with the natural Manos del Uruguay

I just love how the Noro changes color throughout the hexagon.

Serious progress is being made. There aren’t too many cool Spring days left in which I want to be working with warm wool.

I work on it every night. My knitting bag comes along on every trip to the local playgrounds.

Elly has even learned proper etiquette around a knitting project, such as pulling yarn out of a skein currently being knitted from is a no-no. Lol.
